Tommy Makem

Tommy Makem was a folk musician, poet, and storyteller from Keady, County Armagh, in Northern Ireland. He spent much of his career performing Irish traditional and folk music, both as a solo artist and as a long-running member of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. He wrote several songs that became staples of the Irish folk repertoire, including Four Green Fields and Winds of the Morning.
