The Andrews Sisters
The Andrews Sisters were a close-harmony vocal trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota, made up of sisters LaVerne, Maxene, and Patty Andrews. They worked primarily in swing, boogie-woogie, and traditional pop, recording for Decca Records through much of their career. Their tight three-part harmonies and quick vocal syncopation made them one of the best-selling acts of the 1940s, and they recorded hits with artists ranging from Bing Crosby to Carmen Miranda.
