Sarah Brightman

Sarah Brightman is an English soprano singer and actress, born in Berkhamsted in 1960. She started out in musical theatre, originating the role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera on the West End, before building a solo career that spans classical crossover, operetta, and adult contemporary pop. She has charted and toured on six continents and is one of the best-selling soprano artists in the world.
