Rooney

Rooney is a pop-rock band from Los Angeles, California, built around singer and multi-instrumentalist Robert Schwartzman (brother of actor Jason Schwartzman and nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola). The band started in the early 2000s and built a following through energetic, melody-forward guitar pop, picking up wider attention after appearing on the TV show The O.C. in 2004. Over the years the lineup around Schwartzman shifted considerably, leaving him as the sole constant member by the time of their fourth album.
