Riz Ortolani

Riz Ortolani (1926-2014) was a composer, conductor, and orchestrator from Pesaro, Italy, who spent more than fifty years writing music for film and television. He scored over 200 productions, working across mondo documentaries, giallo thrillers, horror films, and Spaghetti Westerns. His composition "More," written for Mondo Cane, won the 1964 Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Theme and brought him international recognition.
