Rico Bell

Rico Bell (born Eric John Bellis) is a British musician based between the UK and California, who plays guitar, accordion, harmonica, keyboards, and melodion. He joined the punk rock band the Mekons in 1983 and has built a parallel solo career rooted in alt-country and roots-rock, recording for the Chicago label Bloodshot Records. His songs lean toward soul, country, and R&B, delivered with a wry storytelling voice and a dry wit that sits alongside a darker worldview.
