Outlaw Blues Band

The Outlaw Blues Band was an American group that formed in the late 1960s around founder and director Victor Aleman, whose Latin roots helped shape a sound that pulled from blues, rock, jazz, psychedelia, and Latin rhythms. Their instrumental lineup went beyond the standard rhythm section to include saxophone, flute, and vibraharp, giving their music an unusual breadth for the era. They built a cult following over decades and gained wider notice after artists like Cypress Hill and De La Soul sampled their recordings.
