La Sonora Dinamita

La Sonora Dinamita is a cumbia group founded in 1960 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, by bandleader Lucho Argaín. After disbanding in 1963, the group was revived in 1975 and went on to become one of the most recognized cumbia acts in Latin America and beyond. Their music draws from Colombia's Atlantic coast traditions and helped bring the cumbia sound to international audiences.
