Kieran Kane

Kieran Kane is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in Queens, New York in 1949, who spent his career working in country, folk, and Americana. He made his name as one half of the O'Kanes, a duo with Jamie O'Hara that scored a number-one country hit in the late 1980s, and he later co-founded the independent label Dead Reckoning Records. His solo work leans toward acoustic, stripped-down arrangements and plainspoken songwriting.
