Jim Ed Brown

Jim Ed Brown was a country singer born on April 1, 1934, in Sparkman, Arkansas. He first gained an audience in the 1950s as part of a family vocal group, the Browns, alongside his two sisters, and then built a solid solo career through the 1960s and 1970s. He also recorded a popular run of duets with Helen Cornelius and hosted a syndicated country radio program out of Nashville before his death in 2015.
