Jerry Reed

Jerry Reed was a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and actor from Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in country music from the late 1950s onward, building a style rooted in fingerpicking guitar and a loose, good-humored approach to songwriting. Beyond music, he appeared in a string of films in the late 1970s and early 1980s, including the Smokey and the Bandit series.
