Issac Delgado

Issac Delgado was born in 1962 in Marianao, Havana, Cuba, and is one of the founders of NG La Banda, the group widely credited with pioneering timba in the late 1980s. He has built a long solo career that moves between timba and salsa, drawing on his deep roots in Cuban popular music. His warm, expressive voice has kept him a central figure in Cuban dance music for decades.
