Hermanas Aguila

Hermanas Aguila were a Mexican vocal duo, the sisters Maria Paz and Maria Esperanza, who recorded during the Golden Age of Mexican radio and bolero. They were named 'Best Duet of America' by composer Gonzalo Curiel, and their repertoire drew from the great romantic songwriters of the era, including Agustin Lara, Maria Grever, and Consuelo Velazquez. One sister, Maria Esperanza, also performed under the name Gaby Paz Dalt in a separate duet called Dueto Columbia, while the two continued recording together until later in their careers.
