Heaven & Hell

Heaven & Hell was a British-American heavy metal supergroup active from 2006 to 2010, built around the lineup of guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, vocalist Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice. The four had previously recorded together on Black Sabbath albums in the 1980s and early 1990s, and the group took its name from the 1980 Black Sabbath record that first featured Dio. They played hard, doom-tinged heavy metal rooted in the classic Sabbath sound.
