Hank Locklin

Hank Locklin (1918-2009) was a country singer from McLellan, Florida, whose high tenor voice made him one of the genre's most distinctive vocalists. He was a Grand Ole Opry member for nearly 50 years and had a long recording career with RCA Victor, scoring major hits including "Please Help Me, I'm Falling" and "Send Me the Pillow That You Dream On". Over a career spanning close to seven decades, he charted 70 singles and recorded 65 albums, and he is credited with helping popularize country music in Ireland and beyond.
