Glenn Miller & His Orchestra

Glenn Miller & His Orchestra was an American swing and big band group formed by trombonist and arranger Glenn Miller in 1938. The band built its sound around a clarinet-lead style layered over tenor saxophone, which gave it a distinctive tone that stood out from other dance bands of the era. Through constant radio broadcasts and recordings, they became one of the most popular acts of the late 1930s and early 1940s.
