Eydie Gorme

Eydie Gorme (born Edith Gormezano, 1928, in the Bronx, New York) was an American singer who worked across pop, Latin, and jazz. She built her career through television, Las Vegas residencies, and recordings both as a solo artist and alongside her husband Steve Lawrence. Her warm, controlled voice earned her multiple Grammy nominations and a Grammy win, and she remained a respected figure in traditional pop until her death in 2013.
