Erasure
Erasure are an English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1985, made up of vocalist Andy Bell and keyboardist and producer Vince Clarke, who had previously co-founded Depeche Mode and formed Yazoo. Their music leans heavily on synthesizers and dance-oriented pop, with Bell's expressive voice at the center of most songs. Through the late 1980s and into the 1990s, they placed dozens of singles in the UK top 40, making them one of the more consistent acts of that era.
