Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich are a pop group from Salisbury, England, formed in 1964. The five-piece, whose real names are David Harman, Trevor Ward-Davies, John Dymond, Michael Wilson, and Ian Amey, built their following in the 1960s British pop scene through an energetic live act and a run of catchy singles written for them by the songwriting team Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley. Their music moved across freakbeat, mod, and straight pop, and they scored a UK number one with 'The Legend of Xanadu' before Dave Dee left in 1969.
