Dave Davies

Dave Davies, born in 1947 in London, is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter who served as the lead guitarist for the Kinks alongside his brother Ray. His distorted guitar work on tracks like 'You Really Got Me' helped shape the sound of hard rock. Outside the Kinks, he has released a string of solo albums spanning from the 1980s through the 2000s, blending rock with more experimental and spiritual themes.
