Darrell McCall

Darrell McCall is a country singer born on April 30, 1940, in New Jasper Township, Ohio. He built his career around hardcore honky tonk and traditional country, staying true to that sound through the 1960s and into the outlaw country movement of the 1970s. He started out as a disc jockey and local dance musician as a teenager, and went on to record for decades as one of the more enduring voices in traditional country.
