Darlene Love

Darlene Love (born Darlene Wright on July 26, 1941, in Los Angeles) is an American R&B and soul singer who built her early career as lead vocalist of the girl group the Blossoms and as a solo artist under producer Phil Spector. She sang lead on several records credited to other acts in the early 1960s before recording under her own name, and her powerful gospel-influenced voice made her one of the most distinctive vocalists of the era.
