Dapp Theory

Dapp Theory is the ensemble led by Canadian jazz pianist and composer Andy Milne, who has been based in New York and active at the center of its creative jazz scene for decades. Milne formed the group in the late 1990s after years playing with saxophonist Steve Coleman, and the band mixes advanced jazz with funk, hip-hop rhythms, and social commentary. The lineup has shifted over the years but the project has remained Milne's main outlet for original composition.
