Connie Smith

Connie Smith (born Constance June Meador in 1941) is an American country singer from West Virginia who built her career in Nashville during the classic country era. Her voice drew wide admiration, with Dolly Parton among those who ranked her among the greatest singers of any genre. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012.
