Charlie Louvin

Charlie Louvin (born Charlie Elzer Loudermilk, July 7, 1927, in Section, Alabama) was an American country music singer and songwriter. He spent decades as one half of the Louvin Brothers, a harmony duo that recorded gospel and country music and became one of the most influential acts in the genre's history. After the duo split in 1963, he launched a solo career recording for Capitol Records and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
