César Costa

César Costa (born César Antero Roel Schreurs in 1941) is a Mexican singer, actor, and television personality from Mexico City who played a central role in bringing rock and roll to Mexico in the late 1950s. He started out as the guitarist and vocalist of Los Black Jeans, recording Spanish-language covers of American hits, before launching a long solo career that spans rock and roll, pop, and balladry. Over the decades he also built a parallel career in Mexican television and film.
