Bruce Woolley & The Camera Club

Bruce Woolley is a singer and songwriter from Loughborough, England who formed the Camera Club in 1979, a new wave outfit that included Thomas Dolby on keyboards and Matthew Seligman on bass. Before the group, Woolley had been writing pop songs for publishing companies and co-wrote 'Video Killed the Radio Star' alongside Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes of the Buggles. The Camera Club played tight, hook-driven new wave pop and toured the UK and North America before disbanding in 1983.
