Adam Wade

Adam Wade (1935 to 2022) was a singer, actor, and drummer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who built his career in the early 1960s as a pop and easy listening vocalist. He scored several Top Ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, with a vocal style often compared to Johnny Mathis and a deep influence from Nat King Cole. Beyond music, he made history in 1975 as the first African American to host a network television game show.
